Young Dream Africa (YDA) is a Kenyan organisation that was founded in 2007 by Lincolin Wamanya. YDA’s dream is to empower and influence young people and support them in the growth of their personality and spirituality. And to facilitate opportunities for both people and organisations to reach their empowerment goals.

For years, a team of volunteers has worked in churches to raise awareness for young people about self-leadership and ambassadorship. The team challenged them to step out of their comfort zone and help others grow. With these young people, YDA organised projects, like handing out hygiene products, giving out food to the homeless, and organising game days in the streets.

For Maryosa, YDA is our main partner for facilitating all the Kenyan projects on the ground. YDA ensures the money distribution to the beneficiaries and projects, mentors Maryosa’s beneficiaries, and gives them opportunities to give back to the community by volunteering places. Furthermore, YDA works together with other Kenyan organisations to maintain the Maryosa projects, including the financial capability program. Besides that, YDA uses its network to recruit new partners in Kenya and to spot potential promising young people.
